I got into Crossfit back in 2014 while on vacation in Hawaii. My background in fitness up to this point was a little different. I used to compete in MMA, I know a little scary right but I promise I don’t bite lol. Crossfit gave me the sense of fitness I was looking for without having to hop into a cage and test my abilities against somebody else, CrossFit has given me a way to measure, test, and track my fitness so I know where my weaknesses are and how to better my overall fitness level. While I was competing in MMA my main study was in Jiu-Jitsu and for 3 years I was blessed with the opportunity to coach Jiu-Jitsu to kids at a nonprofit gym in Rocklin called Coaching Kids.
