I don’t have an amazing transformation story but I am slowly transforming. I am learning to do things I have never done before. Often I can’t get my body to do what it needs to do. For example, I am instructed that my arms need to wait on the pop of the hips but my brain tells my arms you need to lift. So they do. Ack! I am reminded by a coach what I need to do for the millionth time which must try their patience but so far they haven’t thrown their hands up in disgust. I appreciate that.
The only time I have felt pain was when I incorrectly did a deadlift the first or second time I did one. I do get sore almost everyday but that’s okay. It pretty much goes away when I do the next WOD. Well except for bruised shoulders, knees, etc.
I have quit drinking soda but I still need to do a lot better at nutrition.
I’m glad that I decided to take that first scary step through the CrossFit Sac door not quite two years ago.
