Hey guys,

Well, this is that time of year when stores, commercials, and everything else is going to try to make you a eat the worst possible food that anyone has ever created. And I don’t mean that it tastes bad just so we’re clear. I mean it’s got more sugar than half of Willy Wonka’s factory, or it is in such a great amount that will put you on a couch for an afternoon.

I am of course talking about the holidays. And we love to celebrate our holidays In lavish culinary fashion. However, the holiday itself is but one day. It’s like Halloween is one night. Christmas, despite what all the stores might have you believe is not 7 weeks long. But rather two days. What does this mean to you?

This means that it’s going to be even more important that you stay ever vigilant with the type of food that you put in your mouth. If you can stay clear of all that extra junk when it isn’t the actual holiday, you can better enjoy the food that you will inevitably consume at your mother-in-law’s house. I am of course speaking from experience. As my mother-in-law is a fantastic cook and loves to feed me. My job is to stay away from all of that stuff so that when it comes time, I can just allow myself to appreciate the holiday in the festivities. Also, I want my In-body scans to keep going in the right direction. Holiday weight and holiday weight gain are completely avoidable. But you need to be determined and consistent.

If you can find a way to get a support system with either a coach or a good friend or both is the case may be. Then you and they can fight that good fight together. And that can go a long way.

You’re never going to be defined by a single meal or day of meals. But if that day repeats itself every day for 60 days it’s probably going to start changing who you are and how you feel. I know a lot of you dread the holidays because you’re fear of the food and not restricting yourself. Willpower. Willpower will get you through. This is the time of year to prove yourself wrong and be better than you think. I believe in all of you!
