When we talk about the “intended stimulus” of a workout, something like the video below is what we mean. These workouts are created to challenge the fittest on the planet. While the expectation certainly isn’t that you’ll be able to perform the workout like this today, we want you to experience something relatively similar to it in order to preserve that stimulus.
Keep this in mind when we make suggestions about load/reps.
Our goal is to get you the best workout possible of course, but it’s also to ensure that the workout you do ticks the boxes we’re looking for and gives you the desired response.
